Privacy Notice

Our Commitment to Your Privacy

BVM IT Consulting Services India Pvt Ltd (hereinafter referred to as "BVM", "we", "us" or "our") designs, develops, owns, operates and maintains the products and services offered through this website.

At BVM, protecting the privacy of our customers is a responsibility we take very seriously. The trust you place in us is the foundation of our relationship, and we continually strive to ensure you feel secure and confident when using our products and services and when sharing your personal and business information with us.

Scope of this Notice
  1. Where BVM operates as a GST Suvidha Provider (GSP), access to the GSP Application is provided to Application Service Providers (ASPs) under a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited and revocable license, strictly for the purposes defined in the applicable agreement.
  2. Any ASP accessing the GSP Application does so subject to the terms of the applicable agreement and upon payment of the prescribed fees. BVM reserves the right, through manual or automated means, to accept, reject or block taxpayer data from being transmitted to the GST system where circumstances warrant it — for example, a security breach, data traffic exceeding prescribed limits, payloads suspected of carrying viruses or malware, corrupt data, or the termination, suspension or expiry of the agreement.
  3. Nothing in such agreements shall conflict with any conditions prescribed by GSTN/NIC.
Information We Collect
  1. When you subscribe to any of our products or services, we request details such as your name, address and telephone number. These details help us verify your payment information and are used to create and maintain your account with us.
  2. During registration, you are asked to create login credentials (a user id and password). We also collect your e-mail address so that we can send you communications such as order confirmations and status updates relating to your filings.
  3. To prepare and file your returns, offer guidance on Goods and Services Tax matters, or support you during audits, we collect business data such as purchases, sales, credit notes, debit notes, sales returns, purchase returns, turnover and expenditure. Together, this data is referred to as your GST return information.
  4. When you browse our websites, we may gather details of the pages you visit, the links you click and the actions you take, based on standard information transmitted by your browser — such as your IP address, browser type and the page you arrived from.
How We Use Your Information
  1. BVM never sells or rents your personal or tax return information to any third party.
  2. Your personal or tax return information is never shared outside BVM for anyone else's promotional or marketing purposes.
  3. Your tax return information is not used within BVM for promotional or marketing purposes either.
  4. We use your personal information to manage your account, communicate with you, and operate, improve and deliver our products, services and websites. It enables us to respond to your requests, keep you informed about our offerings, personalise your experience, and bill you for the products and services you purchase. Your tax return information is used solely to prepare and file your returns and to provide the related assistance and services you have engaged us for.
  5. We may aggregate usage data across customers to understand how our products are used and to shape new products and services. Such data is compiled in a manner that cannot identify any individual.
  6. Copies of your completed and filed returns are retained in line with our Records and Information Management Policy. These records may be used to assess claims made under our guarantees, or to provide you with copies of your returns whenever you need them.
  7. Where we engage service providers to perform work on our behalf, they are contractually barred from using your information for their own purposes.
  8. We may access or disclose your information where required to comply with the law or legal process, or to protect and defend BVM — for instance, in response to a court order, search warrant or a lawful request from regulators or law enforcement agencies.
Information Security

We safeguard your personal and tax return information against loss, misuse and unauthorised alteration using industry-recognised security controls, backed by well-defined security procedures and practices. Electronic and procedural safeguards are maintained over all tax return information, and our security processes are reviewed by both internal and external teams. Whenever you are asked to transmit sensitive data — such as return details or payment card information — that data is encrypted in transit. Our employees are trained in, and bound by, our obligation to protect your information.
